Retail Development Program

For college juniors and rising seniors, we offer 10-week internship opportunities in a variety of fields. Each day is packed with real-world experience and hands-on learning. Plus, you’ll take part in group projects designed to boost your portfolio and impact our business. Learn More
Sophomore Spree
For college sophomores, this 3-day program gives an inside peek of what it’s like to work in the retail fashion industry. You’ll shadow key associates and engage with other college students by attending seminars and taking part in case studies. Learn More

Will I be notified if I don’t get the position? We’ll notify everyone who has applied as soon as a decision is made. If you haven’t been notified, you’re still in consideration for our open roles. If you haven’t heard from us by April, write us for an update.
When will I hear back about my status with Belk Programs? Interviews occur on a rolling basis, and you’ll be notified about next steps of the process as soon as they’ve been completed. We have a large number of teams involved in the hiring process, but we always work diligently to have this process completed as soon as possible. If you haven’t heard back from us after an interview, you are still being considered for our open positions.
How long is Belk’s Internship Program? Belk’s Internship Program starts at the end of May and lasts for 10 weeks. Interns work 40 hours a week.
Does Belk sponsor international students for their programs? Unfortunately, we do not sponsor international students for our entry level programs.
