Position Summary:

Work with the HR Business Partners (HRBP's), in supporting the day to day Human Resource functions. The HRBP, Specialist will assist in the areas of Employee Relations, Coaching, Recognition Programs, Development and Performance Management.  As needed this role will also provide additional support in reports, payroll and workers compensation and leave of absence.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
  • Partner with HRBP to ensure issues are dealt with efficiently and effectively.
  • Interacts directly with employees helping to solve general issues and questions.
  • Build credibility by becoming well versed in the business and developing a comprehensive understanding of HR strategies, policies and procedures
  • Project Management - Partners with others to develop and/or facilitate programs for managers and employees to support business objectives, corporate programs and individual development.
  • Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in 
    efficiency of department and services performed
  • Provides HR consultation and evaluation
  • Ensure continuous flow on-boarding and off-boarding process; including conducting orientation and exit interviews. Develop plans to address problems or make improvements.
  • Effectively provides HR support within standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Other duties as assigned in support of the human resource function
Requirements/Qualifications:

Minimum Education & Experience:

  • 1 -3 year of HR experience or HR Internship experience
  • BA or BS required
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality with issues and documentation
  • Must be organized and able to multi-task
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced demanding environment
  • Flexibility to work extended hours as needed
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work alone on a broad variety of projects as well as establishing and maintaining strong working relationships within all levels of the Organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver effective results and meet tight deadlines and targets.

 

Preferred Education & Experience:

 

§  Degree in a human resources related field

§  5 or more years of applicable experience

§  SHRM or HRCI Certified
