The role of the Marketing Attribution Analyst is to leverage the Attribution solution to be implemented as part of Belk Sales Promotion/Marketing. The analyst will be expected to deliver recurring reports to key stakeholders in Marketing, to complete deeper dives on a quarterly and annual basis to aid in seasonal strategy and budgeting exercises, and to educate the larger company on the solution.
The analyst will also be expected to understand the solution in detail and can challenge when results seem questionable, but also can sell stakeholders on the value of the results when they are valid. Someone with a background in leveraging statistical models or tools is ideal.
Finally, the Attribution Analyst will be able to manage the Attribution solution for day-to-day operations. This would include resolving data issues, conducting status calls with the vendor, and facilitating on-site meetings of the vendor with broader Marketing. It also would include enhancement of the solution to better server Belk’s vision for Marketing.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or related course work required
3 years experience in a similar or related role
Experience working with large datasets (10M+ records)
Ability to find simple and innovative solutions around data or technology limitations
Demonstrated success in sharing quantitative findings with a non-technical audience
