The Sr. Systems Analyst provides technical expertise related to various application teams. Plans work with Business Analysts to define technical requirements and any support related changes. Designs customizations, conversions, and interfaces as necessary. The Sr Systems Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Integration applications including real time and batch applications. The integration technologies primarily include IBM tool stack (IBM Integration Bus, Datapower and MQFTE) and IBM Datastage. The role would require to partner with peers, business stakeholders, software & services provider, and colleagues from within and outside the application support team, to maintain and support the application, analyze and troubleshoot the production problems, and perform minor and major enhancements.
Ability to understand Message Broker interfaces written in ESQL and Java is required.
Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT, SQL (Oracle or DB2) and SFTP.
Should have a strong understanding of the following concepts in Message Broker: a. WebServices with SOAP and HTTP nodes; b. MQ and file nodes; c. Message-sets & DFDL; d. Message domains like XML, MRM and BLOB (knowledge of DataObject domain is a plus); e. Exception handling and audit logging concepts; f. Using debugger and trace files for troubleshooting and testing; g. Logical message tree structure and specific use of Environment and LocalEnvironment sub-trees; h. Message parser concepts
Ability to create, modify, debug the ETL jobs in IBM Datastage
