Position Summary:

Sr Digital Planner for Omni-Channel is responsible for the global financial plans for the eCommerce with the goal of exceeding sales, margin and turn targets. Additionally, the Sr Planner is responsible for developing financial and operational plans for the Omni Demand and ship channels including eCommerce & Item Locator and managing the eCommerce operational forecasts with the Corporate Planning, Finance and Supply Chain Teams.  In-season, the Sr Digital Planner provides in-depth analysis of eCommerce and Item Locator performance and is responsible for making recommendations to maximize sales and profitability.  Sr Digital Planner also provides cross functional support to Omni-channel, Supply Chain, Digital Operations, Finance, Digital Marketing and Merchant teams.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
  • Develops eCommerce / Omni-channel plans by providing financial targets and KPIs that aligns with the overall corporate strategies and goals

  • Develops fulfillment plans in partnership with Supply Chain aligning to Omni-channel targets and fulfillment capabilities

  • Provides Digital Planning, Store Planning and Supply Chain teams with inventory targets and flows to support eCommerce sales initiatives and key time frames

  • Provides daily sales plans and weekly/monthly forecasts that align to the sales promotions and events on, micro-sites, and Item Locator

  • Analyzes sales, margin, turn, as part of the monthly operational forecast and makes recommendations for actions needed to maximize sales and margin

  • Studies promotions and profitability of LTO events, sales and coupons of corporate and online only events and provides recommendations on how to improve future events that will maximize gross profit and EBITDA

  • Utilizes the forecast data to accurately project Fulfillment Center operations

  • Tracks Fulfillment Center capacity and partners with Supply Chain on strategies

  • Creates reports to monitor accuracy of forecasts and inventory available to ensure that the forecast meets acceptable variance targets

  • Prepares ad hoc reporting in addition to base forecasting

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 4-7 years of retail experience; 3-4 years in merchandising or financial planning or forecasting in a multi-channel retail environment

  • eCommerce experience strongly preferred

  • Previous experience with eCommerce analytic packages such as Adobe or Core-Metrics desired

  • Previous experience in Fulfillment Center / Operational forecasting preferred

  • Previous experience in Omni-Channel preferred

  • Proficient in business-related computer software (Microsoft Windows, Word, PowerPoint, etc).  Advanced Excel and Access experience required.

  • Experience with SAS, 7th online, Retek or similar planning system.


  • Available and able to travel
