Position Summary:
The Conversion Specialist is responsible for management of revenue driving activities for online and mobile products and functionality using rule-based merchandising, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Onsite Search, Product Recommendations, Product Taxonomy, and A/B Testing.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
  • Analyses digital customer journeys to identify, but not necessarily select, technology, functionality and content enhancements that will drive revenue growth
  • Conducts experimentation across channels and product development to identify the most effective, efficient ways to grow revenue
  • Tracks, maintains and improves the customer experience and supports small change projects to drive increased customer transactions, improved satisfaction scores and contact deflection
  • Develops and implements best practices for business rules and related processes across all categories
  • Designs fixes to resolve bugs and faults
  • Optimizes internal tools
  • Assists with A/B Testing by partnering with key stakeholders to identify, implement, test, and analyze A/B Testing and report out
  • Provides weekly actionable reports and analysis detailing insights and opportunities
  • Produces ad-hoc reports as needed (keyword trends by classification, brand deep dives, etc.)
  • Provides leadership and guidelines to promote the development and exploitation of product knowledge in the organization
  • Effectively communicates technical concepts, options, and implications to non-technical stakeholders in written, verbal, and diagrammatic forms (and vice versa) Manages relationships with product stakeholders
  • Effectively communicates relevant product information to stakeholders and teams
  • Actively participates in the retail product management community, staying up to date on new digital solutions and best practices and shares insights with others in the organization
  • Raises awareness of new technologies and features across internal teams

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Management, Computer Science or related field strongly preferred
  • Experience in digital product management, retail management, marketing, digital merchandising and/or internet marketing
  • Experience in A/B testing or Multi-variate planning, execution, and analysis a strong desire
  • Thorough understanding of structured and unstructured data, and ability to make connections between data and business goals
  • Solid understanding of Online user behaviors, Web Analytics, and Internet technology
