Position Summary:
The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator role is responsible for the administrative and end user support of Belk's learning management system. This role provides ongoing systems support and systems strategy support to provide optimal learning management platform performance to support learning and to optimize business operations.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Supports HR platforms by providing functional and technical system support including super user system administration, process implementation, troubleshooting, user acceptance testing, reference guide creation and reporting.

• Develop web applications to support training needs

• Internal customer relationship management with Belk Learning team and IT HR Systems support team.

• External customer relationship management with vendors as needed regarding system implementation, maintenance and enhancement recommendations.

• Meet established internal customer Service Level Agreements

• Provide best in class customer service when communicating solutions to end users.

• Develop, test and implement new custom reports. Periodically auditing existing reports and managing the inventory of all reports.

• Assist with the development, coordination and facilitation of user acceptance testing that account for business activities to be used for admin testing, user testing and documentation of system defects.

• Document platforms and system standard operating procedures.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

• Experience working with Cloud Based LMS systems

• Minimum of 3 years of administering learning management systems


• Knowledge or experience with Workday LMS





• Web development proficiency in HTML, CSS, javascript, etc...

• Microsoft web application development in .Net, JSON, VB, ASP classic, VBscripti, etc.

• SQL databases including MS SQL and Oracle

• Knowledge of learning management trends and methodologies

• Working knowledge of Sharepoint including lists, workflows and libraries

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

• Excellent organization and time management skills

• Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to take the initiative to establish priorities, meet deadlines and make decisions within the functional area of responsibility with minimal direct supervision
