Position Summary:

Responsible for entering data from various source documents into the foundation data system RMS for item creation, attributing, and PMF as needed for pricing.  data management purposes.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

·Work closely with buying/planning office as data is assigned and tasks are provided

·Prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry

· Verify data and correct data where necessary

· Obtain further information for incomplete documents

·Update data in designated systems as needed

· Combine and rearrange data from source documents where required

· Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database, files and forms

· Transcribe information into required electronic format in designated systems

· Check completed work for accuracy

· Store completed documents in designated locations in Share point application

· Maintain logbooks or records of activities and tasks

· Respond to requests for information and access relevant files

· Check source documents for accuracy

· Comply with data integrity and security policies


Overall Position Experience Level:

· High school diploma/Some College course work/Completed College Required

· Formal computer training an advantage

· Proficient in relevant computer applications such as MS Office

· Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed

· Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
