Position Summary:

The Digital Marketing Specialist’s goal is to generate omni-channel sales and customer engagement through the coordination and execution of social media campaigns. This person will report to the Social Media Manager and collaborate with various cross functional teams including Digital Marketing, Marketing, eCommerce, and Merchandising as well as outside partners and vendors.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Key Position Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute social media content through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification

  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content that builds meaningful connections and encourage sales

  • Moderate user-generated content and assist customer service

  • Partner with Marketing and Merchandising teams to craft social media features and promotions

  • Adhere to established schedule and ensure all deadlines are met

  • Responsible for successful launch of approved social media campaigns

  • Measure campaign performance and utilize data to recommend strategies


    Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support Social Media Manager in creating marketing calendars and maintaining budgets

  • Communicate social best practices and contribute in social review of campaigns throughout entire production cycle

  • Keep partners informed of marketing goals, changes, and opportunities  

  • Special projects and other tasks required by the business and deemed appropriate by manager

Minimum Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree. Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related degree preferred
  • 2 or more years of Digital Marketing or related experience
  • Specific work or project experience: Marketing in-house or agency, eCommerce or other related marketing experience
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and evenings
  • Retail experience preferred
